Meet Our Trainer
Nicholas Hubbard
From the frozen trails of Wisconsin to the high-stakes environments of global deployments, my life has been defined by one constant: the bond between humans and elite working dogs. I founded Klaus K9 Training to bring that level of precision, reliability, and deep-rooted connection to every household.
A Foundation of Discipline and Service
My journey began as a young boy dog sledding in the Wisconsin wilderness. It was there, on the back of a sled, that I first learned that a dog’s performance is a direct reflection of its relationship with its handler. That foundation of teamwork followed me into my military career, where I served as an Airborne Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division. During the Iraq surge and subsequent years as a U.S. Government contractor in some of the world's most challenging environments, I learned that discipline and clear communication aren't just "training goals"—they are essentials for survival and success.
Master-Level Expertise
After returning to the civilian world, I committed myself to mastering the mechanics and psychology of high-level canine performance. I am a graduate of the prestigious Tom Rose School (Professional and Masters dog training programs) and have completed rigorous apprenticeships to refine my craft.
My experience includes:
• Service Dog Training: Dedicated years to non-profit organizations, training high-level service dogs for disabled veterans.
• Sport Dog Passion: A deep personal and professional focus on the technical excellence required for dog sports.
The Klaus K9 Mission
Established in 2021, Klaus K9 Training was born from a desire to help owners move beyond basic "obedience" and into a true partnership. Whether you are looking to compete in dog sports or simply want a well-behaved companion who respects and understands you, I provide the roadmap to get there.
Now based in Florida, I am proud to help local dog owners build the confidence, structure, and relationship their dogs deserve.
